We provide a planned programme of education that supports the learning and personal and social development of young people through their voluntary participation.
Young people choose to participate and take an active role in shaping the programme. They are not simply attending activities planned entirely by adults. They help identify their interests, make decisions, plan projects and evaluate what they have learned.
We use non-formal learning methods such as games, arts, sport, debates, technology, workshops, volunteering, trips and international exchanges. Through these experiences, young people build confidence, relationships, leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Activities are used intentionally to support learning, inclusion, wellbeing, active citizenship and personal development. It begins with young people’s interests and creates a safe environment where they can feel respected, heard and involved.
