Really Cool Adventure

At Really Cool Adventure, our strategic work helps us decide what young people need, what we want to achieve and how our activities connect to our main purpose. We listen to young people, families and the local community before planning our programmes.

Our main goal is to support young people in their everyday life, help them to discover their tallents and keep them engaged in activities that are beneficial for their long life success. Our priorities are inclusion, youth participation, wellbeing, leadership, creativity, STEAM learning, climate justice, peace education and global citizenship. We support young people from different cultures, abilities and financial backgrounds, especially those who may have fewer opportunities.

Young people help us choose activities, plan projects, lead workshops and evaluate our work. We want them to be partners in the organisation—not only participants. Through our youth club, Integration Hub, community projects, volunteering, trips and international exchanges, they build confidence, friendships and practical skills.

We work with schools, community groups, businesses, youth organisations and international partners. These partnerships allow us to share knowledge, reach more young people and create new local and European opportunities.

We also plan carefully how to use our funding, volunteers, facilities and equipment. We provide training, follow safeguarding and governance requirements and review whether our activities are achieving meaningful results.

Our long-term aim is to build a stable and inclusive youth organisation in Balbriggan where young people feel welcome, heard and able to turn their ideas into action. We will continue to develop our programmes based on their changing needs.
